Because 'Animals' is the children's favourite theme we've decided to do an Animal Magic Week for May Half Term - running from Tues 28 May to Fri 31 May. Here are some of the highlights.....
Tues 28 May we will have clay animal modelling, Animal Mastermind game, play giant Snakes and Ladders outdoors with chalk and 'Hide the Animals' game.
On Weds 29 May we've got a full day trip to Heaton Park to see their Animal Farm - we will have a picnic lunch and take our own coach to the park and back.
On Thurs 30 May there is an animal handling workshop - where the children will get to see smaller animals close up and have the chance to handle some of them if they wish. Plus we will paint our clay models made on Tuesday and play animal charades.
On Fri 31 May we will do animal inspired face painting and play lots of animal team games, plus make animal inspired Hama bead creations.
And of course all of the time we will have board games, books and role play areas to play indoors plus lots of sports equipment out to keep everyone active.
